Standards for Certification
The commitment and dedication to achieving and maintaining a high standard of expertise and practice is at the core of those lawyers who seek certification from either the Minnesota State Bar Association or the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Certified Trial Lawyers are put through a thorough and rigorous screening process and review of his or her credentials. This requires them to document experience and provide both judicial and peer references, they must take an exam, and must provide information about any disciplinary matters they may have been or are involved in whether public or private.
